Founded in 2005, Zeke’s Coffee is a family owned and operated company. Fresh-roasting each pound with a small fluid bed roaster, and using only the finest available beans, Zeke’s boasts high quality, locally roasted coffee.
Our Story
Zeke’s Coffee of Baltimore proudly made its debut on Sunday, November 6, 2005, at the Baltimore Farmers’ Market, and opened a retail space in Lauraville in NE Baltimore on April 22, 2006 at 3003 Montebello Terrace, Baltimore, MD 21214. Over the years, we have expanded within that space and it remains our roasting facility. On February 26, 2010 the retail portion of Zeke’s was relocated to 4607 Harford Rd. Baltimore, MD 21214. Zeke’s can also be found year round at the 32nd Street Market in Waverly and seasonally at several markets in and around Baltimore. THANKS to all who have joined us at the markets or our shop and enjoyed our fresh-roasted coffee! Your feedback and support has made our vision possible. We’d also like to thank Jeff for designing this website. Check out his insulated glass coffee mugs.
Our Coffee
Zeke’s uses only quality Arabica beans imported from reputable coffee farms worldwide. Our coffee importers are committed to quality, roasting and cupping daily to ensure that each lot they sell is up to their high standards. Once we receive the beans, they are roasted in small batches, in a fluid bed roaster. Great attention has been given to our roasting temperatures and blending techniques to ensure the finest flavors in all of our coffees. Since our roasting facility is so small, our coffee is always fresh, most leaving the shelves within a day or two to one of our wholesale customers or directly to consumers.
This dark roasted blend of South American beans creates a smokey, smooth and chocolatey taste. Good from start to finish. So, my friends, we offer you this fine cup of coffee to fill your gullet with warmth and holiday cheer. This year's Holiday Roast is sure to bring good tidings of comfort and joy to your table.
